For those who hunger for every ounce of performance possible, aluminum holds a very strong appeal. After all, who can resist aluminum's one-two punch of lighter weight combined with its impressive rigidity? Other tandem makers have never been able to offer an aluminum tandem that satisfies the most discriminating enthusiast, who will settle for nothing but a Co-Motion.

We're pleased to say that we have successfully combined the famous Co-Motion ride with the proven merits of Easton 7005 double-butted and triple-butted aluminum. If you know Co-Motion, you know that we aren't satisfied with the same tubing used by other tandem makers.

We started by specifying singular triple-butted one-piece top and lateral tubes (see features page). These tubes are large diameter along their entire length, not just in the center, so you benefit from their greater strength, cleaner lines, and a more accurately constructed frame.

To make the most out of the power of two cyclists, we use large cross-section, non-indented oval chainstays, which we combine with lighter seatstays to maintain a more comfortable ride than other aluminum tandems. Combined with our double-butted seat tubes, big oval double-butted boom tube and center-relieved head tube, the resulting package is what you can expect only from Co-Motion: the best riding aluminum tandem available.
