MILITARY AIRCRAFT
Critical flight hardware has the toughest and most stringent manufacturer spec in
U.S. Department of Defense because if the part fails "the aircraft falls out of the sky with loss of life."  Among the contracts we earned was the production of control linkages for rotors of U.S. military helicopters.

RACE CAR PRODUCTION
In a 7 year period, Peek Brothers Racing custom-fabricated over 100 dragsters, pro-stockers and funny cars for discerning enthusiasts from around the globe.  Averaging better than delivery of one car per month, our cars were renowned for their power to weight ratio, reliability, handling and safety.

SPACE SHUTTLE
Who would've thought that a tool & die maker from Colorado would design and build the prototype seats for the space shuttle?  This door-opening opportunity led us to leaders in biomechanics, ergonomics, and human engineering, and the development of superior products at LaBac & Longbikes.

PNEUMATIC SYSTEMS
After a post-high school tool and die apprenticeship, I enjoyed a 3-year stint as director of an engineering laboratory and destructive test facility for the leading manufacturer of pneumatic transit tube systems.  Later I designed a pneumatic clutch for Top-Fuel dragsters, earning two patents in the process.

ZERO-SHEAR WHEELCHAIRS
Following the space shuttle assignment, I revolutionized the rehab industry (earning 6 patents) with the introduction of the first power reclining seat assembly which allowed high-level quadriplegics to do unassisted weight shifts while minimizing skin bunching, pressure sores and ulcers.  LaBac Systems was born.

TOP FUEL DRAG RACING
After setting many 200 mph records at Bonneville  and achieving financial success at LaBac System, my brother and I returned to racing. We sat our sights on the 300 mph barrier and fielded, managed, and sponsored our own NHRA Top-Fuel Drag Racing Team.
