* Domestic orders are shipped via FedEx ground unless an upgraded service is chosen.  Customer's receive a tracking number via email.  Rates keep rising with inflation and increasing fuel costs and currently run typically run $9-$15. Rural or small town addresses run more while business addresses are less. Shipments of distance, those to remote areas, oversize or heavy packages, orders of high value, next day, two or three day air, etc. cost more. Orders are packaged, weighed and run through a shipping calculator to determine the amount.

Domestic Shipment: Please allow 2-10 working days for delivery. You will be promptly notified of any delays beyond this time frame.

International Shipment: We accept Visa, MasterCard, or Discover on some small orders with known and repeat customers.  Money Wire Transfers are required on international orders of size and with new customers.  Shipping costs are actual charges by the USPS including their pickup fee. To help you, we do not charge for form completion, nor restriction and prohibition research. Please allow at least 5-10 working days for delivery to your local customs. Many orders go right through customs and others take a few days.  You are responsible for any customs, duties, taxes, or brokerage fees that may be applied on your end. There are no taxes in our prices and we do not collect any taxes or customs fees nor can we predict or know what those amounts might be that you may be responsible for on your end.  It is your responsibility to do any research associated with additional costs over and above those directly related to shipping/freight if you view these import expenses as a concern.  A typical 3 pound order to the UK, Australia, or New Zealand seems to run about $60.  Tandems can usually be shipped for $500 - $600.

Special Order Tandems: Allow 3-12 weeks for 2 seat tandems and 10-16 weeks for triplets, quads, quints. We will place the order immediately after receiving your payment. Call and we will be pleased to provide any needed specifics.

Returns and Return Policy:  All items will be refused without a return authorization number. Write or call for an authorization number which must be clearly marked on the outside of the package and provide the reason for the return.  NO RETURNS after 30 days of original ship date or on any special order items or drop-ship orders.  Sorry, there are no exceptions - please don't ask.  Please note that Precision Tandems does not have a satisfaction guaranteed policy.  A 15% restocking fee applies to 'in stock' items accepted by Precision Tandems for return.  Shipping charges are non refundable and should promotional free shipping and handling be involved from us to you, those 'normal' shipping and handling expenses are subtracted from the refund amount.  Items must not have been installed, used nor worn and they must be in the original package in "new" salable condition with all original documentation attached as the item came from the factory.  All licenses, manuals, accessories, and any other complimentary items must be included.  Special order items are defined as those which are not normally stocked by Precision Tandems including all drop-ship items.  Please understand we need to receive the goods in a timely fashion for us to return to the suppliers or to resell.  Sending an item with a signature required may incur a delay in receiving the package particularly if the USPS is used and it gets parked at the Post Office.  Should delivery of an order be refused for any reason, the order is subject to a 15% restocking fee, shipping costs both to you and back to us, shipping costs sending the item back to our vendor and any vendor restocking fees that apply on special order and or drop-ship items.  Sales on Discounted Items, those on Close-Out, Promotional Items, Tandems (new or used), Clothing of any type aside from sizing exchange, Trailer Bikes and Racks to haul tandems, are final with deposits on same being non refundable.  Refunds are generally processed within 3 business days of receipt of allowed returned goods accompanied by a valid return authorization.  Refunds are to the original purchaser only and may be by check or via credit card at the discretion of Precision Tandems.  Enclose a note with your name, address and contact information with a statement describing the reason for the return. 

Warranty: Most products we sell come with a manufacturer's warranty. Please contact the manufacturer directly to learn of the coverage period and their replacement policy.

Damage: It is unusual for this circumstance to surface given our procedure of packing items.  If you receive a damaged item, save all packing material and boxes, necessary to file a valid claim.  By discarding packing material and box(s) you have voided any possible claim and by such action agree to keep the damaged item and accept it as is.  When shipping tandems we take great care in packing and use more buffer material than generally used by the manufacturers.  If the box appears damaged upon arrival, make sure to include a note stating such on the shipper's proof-of-delivery paperwork such as "acceptance subject to inspection."  Be sure to inspect your shipment within 48 hours and promptly notify us and the carrier should damage exist.  Each carrier has their own policy when it comes to claim handling.  Safe delivery of a shipment is the responsibility of the carrier.  Thankfully this is an extremely rare occurrence.

Items sent by us in error:  We take extreme care to ensure that the product shipped is exactly that as ordered.  We acknowledge however that there will be rare occasions when products may be supplied by us in error.  We accept the return of such items only if they are unopened and in their original condition.  We will promptly exchange the incorrect item with that as ordered.

Exchanged items:  We advise customers to choose carefully when purchasing.  We will happily exchange products which have been purchased by you in error providing that they are unopened and in original condition and that they are returned to us within 14 days of purchase. All costs, associated with the return of the item to us, are the responsibility of the customer.  Further shipping charges will be incurred for shipping the replacement product.

Privacy Policy:
Any and all information collected on this site is for the sole use of Precision Tandems.  We never sell your information to third parties or send unwanted e-mails.  You may receive a Happy Holidays e-card but that is all.

Disability/Liability Waiver:
By purchasing a product from Precision Tandems you agree to not hold Precision Tandems or it's manufacturer's responsible for product failure resulting from misuse, abuse, crashes or incorrect installation.

All prices on this website are subject to change without notice. We do our absolute best to keep information current and accurate but cannot be responsible for typos, catalog pricing errors or availability. All orders are subject to acceptance by Precision Tandems.

Miscellaneous:
Tandem prices do not include shipping, dealer freight, assembly, nor applicable taxes, if any. Shipping rates for single bikes are less, more on triplets, quads, etc.
